What would you like to see on your desktop?

Listed below are five very interesting Islamic wallpapers for your windows desktop. You can use the wallpaper images to display on your windows desktop.

The wallpaper picture on your desktop is the image that fills the background of your computer screen when all programs are closed. You can if you wish leave the desktop blank or fill it with a colour. You can even use default Windows desktop theme which changes the wallpaper image to a standard picture included in the theme. However many people prefer to make custom desktop wallpaper from personal pictures or images found online.

In Windows operating systems, you can right-click on the desktop and activate a pop-up menu. By choosing Properties then clicking on the Desktop tab, you can cycle through the various wallpapers that are provided by Windows. A small preview window allows a view of the wallpaper before applying the change to the desktop. You might see many familiar pictures here as these backgrounds are often displayed on computer systems in almost all computers.

The picture has a quote from Yasir Qadhi, an Islamic scholar from America.  You can listen to some of his lectures by clicking here.

The second Islamic picture is of a grave yard with a verse from Surah Al-Imran, reminding us that all souls must taste death at sometime.  It is a poignant reminder that the inevitable will happen to us, and we must prepare.

Are you wasting time or making good use of time?

The Islamic image contains a quote from Saydina Ali ibn Talib, it reminds us the value of time and the need to manage our time better before the soul is in the grasp of death.

The third free Islamic picture is a nice blue coloured background with a quote from Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Truth protects you from the evil doings of the satan!
Truth protects you from the evil doings of the satan!

The quote simply states that it is always prudent to tell the truth, even if it means that the consequences may not be admirable.  However we must also remember that, if the truth spoken can cause rifts between people or cause bigger issues then we must exercise restraint and wisdom.

The forth wallpaper has a nice golden colour and is decorated with Islamic art.  It contains the Surah Al-Fatihah and its meaning in English.

Islam = PEACE
Islam = PEACE

The fifth and final Islamic wallpaper in this collection is a quote from Hazrat Umar (RA).  The quote is depicted on a background of full moon, minaret and domes.

Are you content with what you have in life?
Are you content with what you have in life?

The quote contains lessons for us all, in how we can better ourselves for a greater reward in this life and in the hereafter.

Very nice artwork.

I have the same masjid brush set used in the last picture. It's funny because I also chose to use it in the same way in a piece I did a while back.

Proves my limited imagination :(

The Al-Quds one is really nice and a lovely quote to match.

Did you design these yourself? They're super-lovely! Mashallah! Keep up the good work!

FranyaBlue: I want the brush set too, please?

Hi Zahra,

Thank you for visiting and your comment. Some of the images are from different sources and I basically merged them into what you see, added the quotes. I also have a host of my own images which I will be putting up soon as I get some time to locate some good quotes.

If you want some islamic brushes then drop me an email and I'll send them to you.
