Energy Vitamins

Our extremely busy modern lifestyles put a strain on our energy reserves, whether it’s looking after the kids, going to work or doing jobs around the house. It takes allot of energy to maintain our physical activities and daily demands that most of us have to do. This is where Energy vitamins play a big role in helping us recover and helps our bodies produce the required energy to get-up and go.

We all accept that eating healthy and taking up physical exercise is important in maintaining a good healthy lifestyle, but there are always times when all this, still does not help and we do from time to time feel very tired and drained. Sometimes it can be had to generate enough energy in the body to get up and get things done, especially during the colder months or straight after some illness. It is therefore important to supplement our healthy diets with some extra vitamins and minerals that can boost our energy levels and give us that extra get-up and go feeling.

Note for women who are pregnant, thinking of becoming pregnant or breastfeeding they should not take any Energy vitamins or other supplements without first consulting their doctor.

What are Energy boosting vitamins?

All of us may feel tired from time to time, but if your tiredness is bordering on chronic fatigue, you may be lacking in essential vitamins and minerals. Without these nutrients to keep your body running, it's easy for fatigue to set in. I have provided a small list of these crucial Energy boosting vitamins and minerals below.

The B-Vitamins - Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine, is essential for cellular energy production. It helps the body convert carbohydrates into energy.

Vitamin B2 Riboflavin is crucial for metabolism. It helps convert fats and carbohydrates into energy, encourages blood flow to the brain, and moves oxygen throughout the body to help cellular functioning.

Vitamin B12, works together with folic acid to manufacture red blood cells. This B12 is necessary for digestion, metabolizing fats and carbohydrates, and creating protein. Even if you're not B12 deficient, your energy levels may be improved by increasing your intake of the vitamin.

Iron is necessary for the production of haemoglobin which is a protein in the red blood cells that carries oxygen to the tissues of the body.

Magnesium, contributes towards producing energy in your body. With magnesium deficiency resulting in fatigue, cramping, rapid or irregular heartbeat, insomnia and irritability.

Folic acid is a member of the B-complex family (vitamin B9). It helps in producing red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body.

What vitamins to take for energy?

The vitamins you need to take for energy, I have listed in the above section. The vitamins that give you energy can be purchased as a single supplement or you can purchase them as "Energy Boosting Vitamins - Feroglobin Vitamin And Mineral Capsules 30 Capsules". You can also get these Energy vitamins in liquid form "Feroglobin Vitabiotics -B12 Iron Supplement Liquid 200Ml", if you prefer to avoid capsules.

Taking vitamin supplements should not be a replacement for a healthy diet and physical exercise, all women should participate in maintaining a well-balanced diet and exercise regularly. If you continue to feel tired and lacking in energy then you should consult your doctor and rule out any other medical conditions. Do not exceed stated doses in any energy vitamins for women and always consult your doctor before taking any if you are on other medications.
